Is anyone aware of a one bed flat available to rent in the Sidcup / Welling / Blackfen or surrounding areas. Looking to pay up to £850 per calendar month. Wanted by a single female. Can be furnished or unfurnished. Message me if you’re aware of any such property

No mate, absolutely not. I’m 60 and I’m asking for my friend’s daughter who has just split up with her boyfriend and is essentially homeless - currently sofa surfing. Would appreciate sensible and genuine replies. Vulnerable young lady and you’re taking the piss ..

had a look on rightmove but mainly only rooms to rent in shared houses for that price range.

For that price you'll only be getting shared accomodation, if she is ok with that

 Thanks ... she’s been to look at flats in the locality and as far away as Greenhithe. Problem is, there are 20 other people going after the same flats. You need to have an income of £30k before landlords or agencies consider you and that’s for a £1k per month rental. Even though she has a guarantor, they’re not even considering her. Depressing ...

I spend a lot of time on Rightmove and the like so happy to help.

Personally I would go offline for this with so much demand and try shop windows local to where you're most keen. Keep it old school for less competition and avoid agency checks and fees.

agencies can't charge fees anymore, the government banned them last year
