With the fear of missing the point I haven't got fucking clue!!

There have been loads of brilliant ceos with bugger all football experience, there have been hundreds of poor ones with relevant experience.

My actual choice would be an experienced administrator who knows bugger all about football and knows they know bugger all about football.  Delegate, know what's happening, deal with the issues.
