It is worth people keeping an eye on BT Sport's schedule as they have been recently repeating their 'The Big Match' rewind from 1976. A few days ago they had the October 1976 episode which featured as the main game our 3-1 mauling of Hull, Killer's hattrick and the famous 'Roy of the Rovers' quote from Killer with Brian Moore in the studio. Paddy Powell's speed and pace is always worth watching. We also had a lion club being paraded to fans before the game. Not sure we would be allowed to do that now.....
They had also been showing the episodes from 1983 which included reference to our 7-1 slaughter at Burnley (Hales an Aizlewood sent off and Lennie Lawrence booked).
Apart from reminding us just how good an authority on football Brian Moore was, it does show how much football has 'developed' (dreadful pitches, goalies who can pick up a ball, players being booked and sent off without a single yellow or red card, and in the infamous Derby V Fulham game (1983), you even had a fan go and kick out at a player trying to take a throw......)
Enjoy.....

Another excellent shoot out for us was at Chelsea, five perfect penalties, although according to Mourinho Chelsea didn't lose that game.
(Sorry to pick you up over ONE letter :-) )
