Good day all,
I was wondering if there was a book specifically about Charlton and its history. All from how the club was founded to leaving The Valley and returning. I've scanned obvious places like amazon but can't see anything specific.
Many thanks.

Battle for the Valley is very good but more focused on the Valley. Some bloke called Rick Everett wrote it, who ever he is.
When football was football is an excellent coffee table book £10 + p&p from @charltonnick
Valley of Joy, Valley of Tears by Richard Redden is fairly comprehensive up to its publication date but that is a few years back now.
The Addicks Cartoons, also by Redden, is excellent on the very early years.
Also there is a very good centenary DVD which is worth watching.
