Sam finley Arrington Stanley

Anyone remember Sam Finley who plays for Accrington Stanley who stamped on the head of Lyle Taylor and received a 5 match ban.

Well today he has been given an 8 match ban for foul and abusive language towards Rochdale defender Paul Mcshane

This is his 3rd lengthy ban after receiving an 8 match ban in 2016 for abusing and insulting a referee which included references about the referees sexual orientation.

Would you agree that players like this should now receive bigger punishments now this is his 3rd Ban for Abusive language or violent conduct??

He should be forced to stamp on Matt Southall's head.

Karlan putting away that pen in the dying minutes of the match was very sweet.

They were the dirtiest team I've seen in years.

I hope that it's a very long queue, including people with very large feet.
  • Make him shadow an ambulance crew or work in an intensive care unit for the length of his ban. Hopefully that would make him realise how lucky he is to play football for a living and make him grow up.

Should definitely receive a lengthier ban given it’s his 3rd offence. Makes you wonder why Accrington continue to employ him. Mind you the way they conducted themselves at The Valley,  I’m not in the least bit surprised that they do.

He wasn't the only 'robust' Accrington player in that match at The Valley but somebody that kicks somebody else in the head whilst they are defenceless on the ground should answer to a court for assault not just the EFL / FA or whatever the football disciplinary body is known as at the moment.

He should be made to do counselling. Obviously has some massive problems.

it looks like he has. unless I'm reading the press reports wrong he's got an 8 match ban for using a word which has at times been quite freely used (and it's use defended) on this forum

We have all said things we later regret,i think it was he said he didn't say anything then later admitted the offence the made the length of the ban as long as it was, as well as any perceived racial element, but stamping on people is something else. Needs help.
