Hull were terrible. We were fine.

Phillips: 7 did well, couple of flaps
Matthews: 8 MOM superb performance
Lockyer: 8 very strong
Pearce: 7.5 didn't have so much to do...except score
Oshilaja: 6.5 some great moments going forward, some dodgy ones defending
McGeady: 6.5 good shift and a couple of lovely touches but couldn't influence the game a great deal
Cullen: 7 generally everywhere, a bit untidy, should never shoot
Pratley: 6 plenty of tackles and the like, still barely resembles a footballer with the ball at his feet 
Morgan: 7.5 magic while he was on
Bonne: 5 not up to it today, hopefully will ease into it
Hemed: 7.5 really encouraging display
Doughty: 7 added some nice energy

Phillips: 6. Almost nothing to do. One good save that was pretty much hit straight at him. 

Matthews: 7. Steady. Not much attacking threat but it wasn’t that sort of game plan. 

Lockyer: 7.  Solid. 

Pearce: 8. Solid. Bonus point for the goal

Oshilaja: 6. He did ok considering he was completely out of position. A bit lucky not to be sent off. 

McGeady: 6. Some moment of sheer class to punctuate the long periods of anonymity. 

Cullen: 7.5. Tigerish. Put a real shift in. Dead ball delivery continues to be hit or miss. 

Pratley: 7.5. Did all the hard yards. 

Morgan: 8. Great performance. Hope we se more of him 

Bonne: 4. He was awful. Missed two sitters and ran around like a headless chicken. Gained an extra point for never giving up and his little pass that put Deji through. 

Hemed: 8. Best performance in a Charlton shirt by a country mile. Ran out of steam but we are going to need this from him as our forward options are very limited. 

Doughty: 6.5. A couple of great runs and one excellent criss that Bonne fluffed. 

Referee: 7. Ok

Aneke: n/a  Thought he looked quite good in his cameo. I’d be tempted to start him instead of Bonne but it won’t happen as LB will want to manage Bonne’s confidence after this display.

Phillips: 7 - Live by the sword. He was off his line for everything and largely got it right. Only a couple of saves. 
Matthews: 8.5 - MOTM - Such a good 1-v-1 defender they just stopped going down his side.
Lockyer: 7.5 - Solid
Pearce: 7.5 - Good but did a very typical Pearce in missing a header that his CB partner also went up with that allowed Samuelson in.
Oshilaja: 7.5 - So he was there to deal with the pace and left foot of a right winger (be it Wilks or Bowler). And good going forward and on his left foot. Great move from Bowyer.
McGeady: 6.5 - Worked hard to his credit, but not a lot came off for him.
Cullen: 7.5 - Engine room. Looks a lot more like the player we know than the one who looked off the pace after returning from injury. Underrated could be one of the biggest players in us staying up or going down.  
Pratley: 7.5 - It wasn't pretty. It rarely is. It doesn't matter.
Morgan: 8 - A good reminder of how special this kid is and of the fact that he started both semi-finals last year.
Bonne: 6 - He's poor with the ball at his feet and didn't win his headers. Not his day. Expect Green to partner Hemed next week if everyone stays fit.
Hemed: 8 - There it is. You could see it in little flashes. But he has such lovely skill and when the ball goes up to him it sticks. Assist for the goal because Pearce Nugented him. Created McGeady's volley. Worked hard, ran the channels, made Hull work for it. All around a really good performance. 
Doughty: 6.5 Huffed and puffed but not a lot of end product. 
Referee: 6.5 - Fine.
