Went to see her at the Marlowe theatre Canterbury in the mid nineties, really lovely lady & held a room superbly, mad as a box of frogs mind

Made me laugh when she was on TV with Clive James (even just the way he introduced her), obviously didn't take herself too seriously, and came across as lovely in interviews.

    RIP

She was such  a highly talented singer who fooled us all with her whacky comedic renditions of top hit tunes. Clive James was tickled pink every episode she was on and I laughed out loud every week. Saw her live, first half of the gig she played to the audience with all her skewed versions of Hello, Mama Mia, It’s Not Unusual and Take a Chance on Me, second half at the piano singing like an angel a mix of Cuban and Anglo-American songs which left ,many around me going, wtf, she can actually sing???

Thanks for the entertainment and RIP
