Phillips: 6 - good performance, one very costly fumble even though it was a difficult one.Matthews: 6 - fair performance.
Lockyer: 7 - should have done way better with a golden chance but did the hard yards
Pearce: 7 - good as always but needs to remember that he’s not Alan Hansen.
Oshilaja: 4 - out of position but that excuse won’t cut the mustard for much longer.
McGeady: 4 - some moments of real class but way past his sell by date.
Cuillen: 5 - passing consistently awful. A rare mare from a boy who deserves to play in a better team than this shitshow.
Pratley: 6 - Good solid effort as usual
Morgan:6- assume he was injured when removed. Was doing ok.
Bonne: 3 - call for a lifeboat quick! This guy is so far out of his depth he’s drowning.
Hemed: 5 - 20% Yann, 80% Church, 100% past his sell by date.

Phillips: 5 - probably stopped more than he let in but the spill was directly responsible for the goal
Matthews: 5 - usually great but often missing in defensive duties tonight
Lockyer: 4 - lucky not to give a pen away and maybe should have been sharper for their goal
Pearce: 6 - also could have given at least one pen but our best / most battling defender
Oshilaja: 4 - poor in defence first half. Got better but needed subbing
McGeady: 5 - not the worst performance because at least he tried to spark something but he held on to the ball too long and gave it away cheaply
Cullen: 5.5 - not up to his usual standard, gave the ball away cheaply a few times
Pratley: 6.5 - our MOTM, we were much better when he dropped into a back 3 and he was all over everything
Morgan: 5.5 - not as effective as usual, seemed they targeted him with some nasty fouls
Bonne: 3.5 - not good enough. Should have put us one up and offered little after that
Hemed: 5.5 - a decent showing, but fluffed his chance. Had more chances than normal.

Phillips: 8 - did well, had to make some saves, unlucky with the goal
Matthews: 6.5 - a lot of the attacks came down his side and he didn’t get forward very effectively
Lockyer: 7.5 - played well but - .5 for the miss and not blocking the goal
Pearce: 8 - commitment and strength
Oshilaja: 6.5 - looked like a right back playing at left back
McGeady: 6 - very poor first half, improved after the break, fluffed his lines with a shooting chance

Phillips: 7 Kicking was good excellent save first half. When it's hit that hard close to your body it's impossible not to push it out, despite what Roy Keane and Steve Mc would say.
Matthews: 7.5 Excellent for 65 minutes, they pushed their CB up and he couldn't attack space so well. Wasn't his fault for the goal, it was Hemed's lack of tracking.
Lockyer: 7 Battling and competitive. A fraction of seconds off the tackle for the goal.
Pearce: 7 Both Pearcey and Lockyer were excellent against Smith, thought their distribution was good too.
Oshilaja: 6.5 I can see why he's there, as he adds a defensive physicality the side lacks. Out of position sometimes, but we lose out on overlapping threat - something he did well in the right against Forrest at home?
McGeady: 6.5 Best first half I've seen from him for us. Not enough snap. All our midfielders should be practicing hitting it first time when 20-25 yards out.
Cullen: 6.5 More involved first half. Lacked zip in his passing but was never over run when Pratley dropped into the CB 3 first half.
Pratley: 8 Excellent first half, including forward passing. Defensive reading of the game 2nd half superb.
Morgan: 7 Missed his energy second half, but he lost a runner for their best chance.
Bonne: 6 Worked hard never looked convinced he'd trouble the goal on the break. Narrows the play too often.
Hemed: 7 Excellent. He lost his runner for the goal, but shouldn't have been on or forced to cover the right with his legs. Difficult one in does Chuks drop to cover as he's more mobile, but then we lose a mobile outlet - bring on Williams
Field: 6.5 Filled in for Pratley well, tidy on the ball, didn't seem to link with Cullen.
Aneke: 7.5 Should have started instead of Bonne. His physicality and pace was needed against Millwall.
Referee: 6 Barely noticed him. He didn't notice a penalty with Lockyer grabbing Smith from memory.
Williams: n/a Had the most energy, would have preferred him on for Hemed as he'd have pushed back their overload on the right side.
