  • Bonne gets worse every game
The reality is, he was never meant to play. He was to develop in the reserves and sell-on, like Brentford would. But whereas they buy-up players like Konsa, we buy up players like Bonne.

    I do.
    1. 70'

Naby Sarr (Charlton Athletic) wins a free kick on the left wing.

    2. 70'

Foul by Lee Evans (Wigan Athletic).

  • Bonne is so so poor
  • Don’t look like scoring at all. Wigan seeing out the game comfortably
  • 72'

    Post update

Offside, Charlton Athletic. Macauley Bonne tries a through ball, but Tom Lockyer is caught offside

  • Plenty of time left.  Have faith.  Up the Addicks.
  • Get McGeady and Hemed on or Green go all out these final 20 minutes

Ooof. Looks like Bonne may have got a boot to the head.

  • 73' Yellow. Samy Morsy goes into the book for a foul on Bonne. (1-2)
  • Argh come on... Stay onside!!!

Is that true? Which strikers were meant to play this season. Just Taylor and Hemed?
  • There is an air of creeping inevitability about this match.
  • We've been offside a lot post-lockdown
  • Need a penalty
  • Why can't we do a Stoke, Huddersfield, Middlesbrough, QPR, Reading, Wigan, Wednesday Luton, basically insert any other club name, and win the game that matters
  • Lockyer still playing a 0/10
  • Get McGeady and Hemed on or Green go all out these final 20 minutes
Agreed, might as well lose 3-1 going for it, than go down like this.

Aneke should have featured a lot more as should Leko

  • Lockyer needs to forget about his " footballing" abilities

Taylor and Leko. Hemed and Aneke back up. Bonne was fifth, arguably fourth, choice.

Taylor and Leko with Hemed and Aneke as back up.
  • Perhaps we can score in 90+ minutes like every other team does to us
  • Wigan managing the game now
  • Need to get our momentum back here

Bar maybe Luton who I admit to not knowing that much about, our team just isn’t nearly as good as any of those. We need a bit of luck to win games at the moment.
  • Think we shot our bolt in the 1st half
