This team would struggle in League 1.
It’s miles worse than the league one team

Season ruined by unloyal players and owners even worse than Roly. Started well but tapered off disastrously, no spark left.

Sometimes you just have to sit back and admire.  we are a pea shooter to their nuclear bomb I'm afraid.  The unfolding scenario of results elsewhere however could only happen to Charlton.

100%, no way this mob would bounce straight back if we do go down. No comparison to the team that won at Wembley.
And that side had Josh Parker.
  • This is utterly depressing

Every result going against us after the first 45 minutes.....you couldn't write this script. As for our game I'm sorry but we are shite! League One here we come, if of course we actually survive at all!!
There it is.  The only thing we had going for us was our championship status.  It used to be that we had our own ground, a strong and sustainable financial base.  Now we are a second rate L1 team with possible financial mismanagement sanctions and quite possibly not enough players to form a team next year with no ground and no money.  I can see us gone.

Awful 1st half, and even worse results elsewhere

At least in the last 10 minutes we kept the ball better, crazy to keep hoofing it long and give possession back

Leeds are clearly in peak form at the moment, they look so much better than any other team we've played this season

We ain't good enough full stop. Roland and the utter scum he sold to are 100% to blame.

We need one Fulham goal or two Blackburn goals.

Or one Blackburn goal and two Charlton goals (don’t laugh).
Adraw would leave Wigan on 49, a defeat on 48 with better goal difference.
    No.

    Some good news:
    1) $5 foot longs are back at Subway
    2) You can still get Tacos at the Chateau
    3) These shirts exist thanks to my adverts on this site:

They need to give them a rocket at half-time, send them out with some f*cking fire FGS.

As for our game, I hope we make it a contest at least.
  • I understand the desire to try and be positive, and I know the odds were against us today regardless, but I can’t help thinking Bowyer has totally fucked it with this tram selection and formation.
Should we have parked the bus?

Time to stop being so fucking defensive and go for it. Pearce, Mcgeady, Davison off and bring on Aneke, Williams and Green. Go down with a fight not sitting waiting for another team to score.

    Fuck Taylor
    Fuck injuries
    Fuck RD

Bottom line: we are safe with one Fulham goal and one Brentford goal, pending the Wigan points appeal.

The only bright spot is Roly doesn't get his survival payment. Hopefully the current parasites.....sorry would be owners do one as well.

This is on you taylor you maggot
I wish we could blame him. But other than getting injured playing for Montserrat, we did ok without him in the first 3 games since the re-start
Taylor would have put away some of the many half chances we created. Agree though, it’s him and the chancers who failed to help Bowyer. From RD who watched Aribo and Bielik walk away without replacing them to ESI and the Range Rovers.
What could have been for the second time in the championship.
We need to rid this club of the cancerous owners who are totally killing it and preventing it from ever having an stability and success

I’ve jumped on Brentford, Blackburn and Fulham all to come back at 237/1.

    Thank me later lads.

Wonder if Bow is secretly registered to play?

P.s How did Doughty miss so badly?
