Allowing for the nonsense/disaster zone of our ownership, these threads always tend to be over alarmist as so much of our business, especially the loans, happens so late. Indeed the Bowyer/Gallen game plan is to wait for the right loan players, even if it means starting the season with a very thin squad
In 2018/19 Steer, Bielik, Cullen and James Ward all arrived after the season had started In 2019/20 Oztumer, Hemed, Cullen, Field, Kayal and Leko all arrived in August, again after the season had started
I think Gilbey and JFC would compliment Williams well. We all know what Williams can do but I think it's important to have a couple alongside him chipping in with goals.
Plus ozzy if fit cam score in this division, I fancy Davison, to do well too ,I'd be happy if that was the squad I really , maybe add in a couple if loans, some one in the mould of a leko I think wed be absolutely fine.
That really would and should be good enough to challenge for automatic.
Really? Who is getting the goals ?
Bonne and Washington...
Bonne is on your bench. I’m sure a Washington is a good player but he’s not a goal scorer
Think both Aneke and Bonne will be very good at L1 level. If we're paying for Washington, I expect him to be Lyle's replacement so rotate Chuks and Macca
On the assumption are leaving but under contract: Phillips, Lockyer, Doughty, Bonne.
Dont forget that Lockyer has handed his notice in so whilst he is under contract for another year... The terms of his contract state he can leave for free this year

Honestly, not too bad a start but a lot of work is still needed.

At the moment we've still got three Centre-Backs
10 in 25 in 2015/2016 for Peterborough
13 in 40 in 2014/2015 for Peterborough
Think in league one he will score

Would love to see what Bonne and Doughty look like in this league
RB - hopefully Matthews
CB x2
DM - as you say cover for Pratley
This is the absolute minimum. In an ideal world, another LB and CF.
