Laminated book of dreams - RIP

Argos have stopped printing their catalogues - used to print 10 million twice a year.

2020 - what a year.

Recall my son ticking every toy he wanted for Christmas in the catalogue when he was little. Most had ticks apart from the dolls!

I recall somebody shared the page on here a while back, where you could look through old catalogues online. Brought back some memories.

Hate Agros, never bought anything there that wasn't problematic.  As for the book - good riddance.

Never known anyone show any animosity towards the Argos brochure before. Not exactly Mein Kampf or the Satanic Verses........

A Stirling University professor has a copy of every Argos catalogue back to 1973. He uses them to study the history of consumerism and sociial trends  .. good choice (story in the Times)
