Asking Bristol City if he can re join them when they get a new manager

Was surprised to see he is only 29 years old.

  • And was without a club for two years. Of course he wants to return to Bristol city! I might ask them for a contract as well

That one Thai Premier League goal may not be enough!
    goal at about 1:05

  • Undoubtably talented, but seems like he’s got some kind of attitude problem being unable to settle anywhere he’s been.
  • “home”?

Played for them roughly the same time as Cullen played for us, who wasn’t even our player!
  • I would take him in L1 if he could prove his fitness.
  • He was absolutely unplayable one season for Bristol City. I'd hoped that was the thing Chuks would bring for us, the bulldozing strength with bags of skill. Seemingly similar to Chuks though in that he couldn't cut it at Championship level and then just faded into nothing. Let's hope Chuks doesn't follow that last part.
  • Scored an excellent goal for Livingston today.

How he flicked the ball up so he could volley it was clever play.

  • Professional footballer Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has been arrested for orchestrating the importation of drugs.

The 33-year-old striker, who currently plays for Greenock Morton, was arrested at his home in Gourock, near Glasgow, on Wednesday and taken to Carlisle for questioning.

He has been remanded in custody and is expected to appear before Carlisle Magistrates on Thursday, accused of importing class B drugs.

It comes after officers from the National Crime Agency (NCA) discovered 60kg of cannabis with an estimated value of £600,000 in suitcases arriving at Stansted airport from Bangkok.

  • Never played for us, so sadly not eligible for the Charlton bad boys 11.

Would have relegated Ricky Otto to the subs bench for sheer quantity too.

Thought he was safe using a JET
  • Scum bag
  • Had nothing to do with it apparently, even though it's his missus, he played in Thailand recently (probably when he got roped into it) and he's the one that's been organising the flights etc for them
  • Lucky for them the seizure happened back in the UK rather than during their stop over in Dubai.

Must've been a slight red flag to customs when they walked through with about 20 suitcases!

  • A professional footballer has denied involvement in a plot to smuggle £600,000 worth of drugs from Thailand into the UK.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, 33, is alleged to be linked to the discovery of 60kg (9.44st) of cannabis at London Stansted Airport, Essex, on 2 September.

Rosie Rowland, 28, and Yasmin Piotrowska, 33, also denied importing the Class B drug between 1 July and 2 September, during a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court.

The defendants would stand trial for up to seven days in May, Judge Christopher Morgan said.

Mr Emmanuel-Thomas, a former Aberdeen, Queens Park Rangers and Arsenal striker, appeared at court via video link from HMP Durham.
