No Pearce or Aneke involved though - Nice that James Vennings and Ben Dempsey got to travel for the team bonding

Neither team looks that bad when you consider its a mixture of youth and experience across 22-players

Proof we dont need THAT much improvement, few more signings and a few loans to add to the bulk

Former left back. Played for us for around 3 years before being bought by Huddersfield.

Left-Back came through the Academy... Went to Huddersfield as wasnt happy with the lack of opportunities he was given

Didnt quite make it there and moved on loan to Portsmouth where he got injured for the season within about five minutes

Injuries have really hindered since he left us which has stopped his career from improving as looked a very good prospect at one stage

Was a left back/midfielder who came through our academy a few years back.

Best known for injuring Barry Bannan without touching him (some reason the video isn't appearing, it's there if you click on the tweet).

Not necessarily something to worry about. Pearce misses out too. At this stage or preseason any little niggle or knock could keep someone out. Wouldn't read too much into it just yet.

My Dad is a Brentford fan and he's said 'Clarke is a good player, especially for League 1, but he's very injury prone'... Sounds perfect for us.
