Charlie Barker (Charlton Athletic) wins a free kick in the defensive half.

  • Biggest disappointment with Lapslie on the right is the fact that he looked so comfortable out there against Brentford and Cardiff last season

Cullen played a bit of a hospital ball to Johnson there. Doughty nicked it, and Cullen fouled him for a free kick

I don't think Oztumer has been that bad, corners aside
He's not been that good either.

Levitt looks a bit slow for me.

Looking a bit stretched there, but Barker gets pulled down in the area by Haller, so we get a free kick

Williams plays in a well marked Aneke instead of an unmarked Ozzy.

Give Levitt his due, he was all over Yarmalenko like a rash there
  • The positive for me tonight is the fact that whilst we're clearly not up to scratch against a Premier League side (duh!!) we look more than capable as a team which should do well in League One

    The foundations are certainly there...

Just need the squad stability and depth now
  • Morgan and Gilbey warming up.
  • Have to say though - they haven’t torn us a new A hole have they....

Barker is a remarkable find. I know he only 17 but how can he be dropped ? Another great performance so far

Barker with the tactical foul on Cullen.

Easily... Over play him and we'll do just as much damage
  • Gibley and Washington coming on

Giving the ball away cheaply at times. Bows will not be happy with that. Arguably better side this half. Would rest Pratley now for Gilbey and put Washington on for Oz

Barker and Pratley combine to rob Massuaku, and now Barker mistimed his challenge on Cullen to concede a freekick about 15 yards out?

Still only 17 so need not to play him too much.

Snodgrass freekick forces a good save from Amos, ball back in hoofed clear by Purrington

Purrington wastes an easy ball to defend by gifting a Corner.

This commentator is nowhere near as bad as some people are making out. Perfectly fine.
