Ok everyone. Now that Tommy is in town I think it’s time we all started practicing our Danish.

The Danish World Cup anthem “Re-sepp-ten” seems appropriate for us when you consider the lyrics..

    Best put that up in the big screen with a bouncing ball identifying what word to sing and when if you want the Covered End to belt that one out

    You know I have honestly never ever heard that Ugly Duckling bit before in my life.

    I can do the chorus, though:

    Vi er røde, vi er hvide.....

    Keep it simple, the Danish fan used to sing   We are Red, We are White, We are Danish Dynamite, sounded awesome in Copenhagen's main railway station when on the way to an International match. Mind you that was 30years ago. Just change Danish for Charlton.

    One signifant fact: They did that in  English rather than in Danish. That extra syllable in "røde" would ruin the rhythm. In addition to which it wouldn't rhyme :-)
