MPs and supporters are calling for an overhaul of the way English football is governed after a series of clubs were hit by financial problems. Bolton wanderers, Wigan Athletic and Charlton have all flirted with financial disaster while Bury FC were expelled from the Football League altogether after problems with creditors. File on 4 hears claims that the root of the problem is the Owners' and Directors' Test used to assess those who want to take control of football clubs

Southall’s luxury rental and his “fleet of Range Rovers” were mentioned. He was allowed to provide a statement where he claimed that these were contractual entitlements. I hope TS gets his people working quickly on recovering every penny that isn’t supported with formal purchase orders or legitimate contracts.

Was an excellent programme about the problems of EFL clubs and the fit and proper persons test etc.  Coverage of the recent issues at CAFC was pretty detailed and engagingly well presented.  You can always rely on R4 to cover such matters better than any other broadcasting medium.
