If you have had a good start in the Prediction League, be wary of careless predictions after the international break. We've seen it all before. Your head gets into dreaming of England wins over Belgium and before you have come down to earth, you find yourself making a thoughtless prediction of a run-of-the-mill game like Crewe v Blackpool. For those who have made a poor start, it's a chance to draw a line under four iffy weeks and get back to your old form. Reigning champion, @Buglehorn, who is languishing at the wrong end of the National League, might well agree.

Hopeful Harriet can't see past a 2-0 win for Charlton after the arrival of much-needed reinforcements, so maybe that's a good one to choose this week. If you want to head further north, you can pick Newcastle's home game against the once-mighty Red Devils. Or, go even further north and take a punt on Dundee United's visitors from The Granite City.
