What a truly great bloke and ambassador for the club.
I have to say I’ve met him several times and he is exactly the same in real life as he is in that interview. A genuinely nice man. He played golf with my Dad a couple of years ago and narrowly lost and they still joke about a rematch whenever we see him..and that’s what makes him different. Like he touches on in the interview he builds a relationship with fans and that means so much more than someone who mingles because he has to contractually.
I hope he sticks around for years to come and we get success under him and Lee
Just took the time to watch this. Well worth it. Restored my faith in football people, after months of surveying a cast of villains.
I think someone once put a vid together of his best moments for us on the pitch, which I'd love to see again now. Especially those back to back missiles which sunk both Sheffield clubs, which he referred to briefly.

Sounds like if Lee's around for a while though, JJ won't be. "Desperate" to be a manager.
JJ is my favourite ever Charlton person.
Were you as angry as I was when Katie sat you in on that Fans Forum?
Asked about Duchatelet, he said: "First of all, I'm going to say the good thing, before I hammer him ......".
