My son was a Pokemon nut. The latest packs (on sale in shops now) are usually what they want. As an all in one box, Trading Card Game Battle Academy looks decent. Google it for best prices.
That's helped me too. If you look online there are quite a few sets, and before Lockdown I popped into Hamleys in Bluewater and they had a whole variety to choose from. I waited for my son to Point them out and made a note of what to order.
I'm trying to find my old ones that are at my parents somewhere, hoping I had some of the old rare ones but I doubt it
I gave all mine to charity... Had all the original pokemon cards, including shinies of all the final evolutions. That Charizard shiny was the last I found.
We have tonnes of Pokemon stuff in the loft. 100s of mini figures, many folders of cards including quite a few rare ones. original Pokemon toys and sets that my son collected. You name it, we probably have it. One thing I don't think my son will ever sell.

I can't believe they've made a comeback!
