    My choice would be :

    Amos

    Gunter, Pratley, Inniss, Purrington

    Watson

    Smyth, Shinnie, Maatsen,

    Maddison

    Aneke

But Bowyer will choose otherwise and keep a clean sheet, mine would scrape it 4-3.

Gillingham wouldn't put 3 past that.

Bowyer's been bigging up the shape work. If this still means Pratley and Watson in midfield I'm not going to trust anything he says about our tactical preparation ever again :D

That's another space on the bench up for grabs then

It can't be that bad as Jonny was on the Wales bench yesterday and has been on the training field today. No need to rush him back though

Great preview as always, @ForeverAddickted can’t believe my own is on Tuesday, this is going to be busy 6 weeks for us both!

Gillingham will be right up for this, Evans is a nasty, loud manager who will demand they go toe to toe with us physically, I actually wouldn’t be surprised to see a penalty or a red card in this fixture.

Our winning run continues though, and we aim to finish November in the top 2.

    Amos
    Gunter Pratley Inniss Maatsen
    Watson
    Morgan Shinnie
    Maddison
    Bogle Washington

    Easily adaptable to

    Amos
    Gunter Pratley Inniss Maatsen
    Watson
    Morgan Shinnie
    Maddison Bogle Washington

    Subs:
Maynard-Brewer, Matthews, Purrington, Levitt, Forster-Caskey, Smyth, Aneke

Williams and possibly even Gilbey and Pearce could come into the squad on Tuesday. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a surprising inclusion in the next couple of games or so.

    Gillingham 0-2 Charlton
    Maddison
    Bogle

    Great preview as always @ForeverAddickted

Interesting point you make about is it straightforward with strikers largely taking the plaudits. I had a quick look back at our POTY. Hadn’t realised we’ve only given a striker this prize twice since 1994.

To quote Bowyer in his press conference **spoiler alert** ..."he's come back and he was showing awarness of it today...", so who knows

    Yeah its an interesting debaye...

Have been chatting with a few Americans on reddit about differences between Football and American Football etc. and was messaging one about Football the other day when they asked what position was genuinely paid the most

Got talking about how Strikers seem to get paid the most and get the plaudits - like how its always attacking players who get recognition for the Ballon d'Or... e.g. Remember Roy Hodgson being mocked on social media for naming Mascherano in his top three vote a few years ago

Remembered that conversation when I started writing this preview so decided to go with it what with Amos beating Dembele to POTM

I always remember this weekends referee Robert Lewis. He was the referee who ran into Josh Magennis and got clattered. Always remember this photo of Josh going to check if the referee is OK in his pants. Poor referee.
That looks like a still from a porn movie!
Aaaaaand now we know your preference in porn.

    Maddison, Aneke, Smyth

I’m not sure if we’ll see Inniss and Pearce together purely because they do the same battling job, I think he like a battler next to a footballer.  International break will also play a part in selection but how much who knows, we’re in a position to rest players so I makes sense to limit them.

As arrogant as it sounds I can’t see these being an issue.  0-2, Inniss, Aneke in the first half.

Appreciate they have been a bit of a thorn before, but a bit different
now and can only see a comfortable win now by at least 2 goals, i can
see them going close, but we will get another 3 points, and will stick my
neck out at 0-3, don't care who scores :)

Thanks for the preview guys. I give up predicting Bowyer teams these days. Would love to see Morgan start, think he deserves it.

    Buzzing to have football back.

    0 - 1 to us.

Always a tough place to go , but  Gillingham are not all that this season . 2-1 away win .

Was a great away day in April 2019 (despite the dickheads smashing up the pub after).  Makes me sad we won't be sitting on that rickety excuse for an away stand come Saturday.  Vaccine cannot come soon enough..0-2 Charlton.

Bogle with a brace to start his scoring run, Maddison to finish them off. 0-3 to the reds.

    Great preview as usual FA.
Yet another game that I would have gone to.
Usually meet up in the spoons Bromley south at 11.
Then onto the Dog and Bone in Gillingham before spending two hours standing on a scaffold to watch the mighty Addicks.
With a near full squad to pick from I can only see another victory for Bowyer and the boys.
2.1 Charlton and our march to the title continues.

I expect a line up to be lamented befoer kick off. But Bowyer will know teams have played alot of the season on front of Gillingham. He's going to want pace & through balls hence :

                                 Amos
                   Inniss Pratley Purrington
    Matthews Shinnie Watson JFC Maatson
                              Smyth Bogle.

Either an comfortable 2-0 or a 1-0 coming in the last 20 minutes.

Another day out ruined by COVID .

Tough game but the type we need to be winning if we are going to finish in the top 2.

Yet again if we play well we won’t lose. An empty ground may also work in our favour tomorrow.

Great preview FA , going for 3 - 0 Charlton , Washington , Maddison and Inniss with the goals as our quality tells.

Looking at most people's team, seems Bogle may have cemented himself as the leader of our front line for now?

    Really good point.

For me Aneke is the better player, however Bogle's movement seems to be doing the job of late.

Also using chuks sparingly seems to be Bowyers tactic for when we need goals he seems to provide!

Just realised this would leave us with a bench of

AMB Gunter Pearce Morgan Madison Aneke Washington
