I know there are loads of other threads where LB's tactics are being dissected but i think its as plain as day that something is going on behind the scenes that is making his selections and substitutions so illogical. Almost universally, nobody could believe that JFC had been selected yesterday and that Williams and Morgan hadn't featured since playing so well against Ipswich - why? to me, the back four, when fi,t is famewho, innis and martsen and then gunter and mattews can be rotated - same with purrer and pearce who can be brought in occassionally as needed - the midfield is then 1 of pratley or watson to anchor , the attacking mid can then be rotated between williams, morgan, shinnie and gilbey - the wide mids are doughty and maddison then any one or 2 of the above 4 who isn't picked as the nr.8. jfc can be used if desperate. up top chucks and smyth. the window needs 3 attacking players added - 2 centre forwards and one proper wide man - at least 2 of these need serious pace.
its not a difficult game but anybody who puts pratley, watson and jfc in the same midfield, needs to take a long hard look at themselves and sort out whatever issues they have in their head that is making them do this because it is totally irrational.
