Nip over to the Official Twitter account, the meltdown is hilariousCallumcafc said:Jonny has gone on a perm.
Especially when you read both his and Maddison's news
On a serious note, sorry to see Jonny leave, lovely bloke but Championship is the better level for him3 -
Thanks for Wembley Johnny... Good luck with Cardiff.15

Looks like we've given up on this season then.7

Agree. Every time we sign someone Bowyer thanks TS for backing him, enthuses about the player, says they’ll improve the squad then bombs them out a few months later.ForeverAddickted said:
Wouldnt be surprised if its another conversation Bowyer discusses with Sandgaard e.g. his reasoningfloydroadfaithfull said:If I was thomas I would be questioning bowyer why he can't get a tune out of these players and shipping them back out after a few months and trying to get some desperate signings In1 -
Here comes the outgoings. Surely some incomings to sweeten otherwise I think some will lose their mindsCafc43v3r said:

I hear Williams gone.1

Seems like Gallen forgot to select the "Realistic Transfers" filter when he searched for wingers in Football Manager.

Incredible with a Barnet like that!Callumcafc said:Jonny has gone on a perm.18 -
No surprise that the 2 players Bows critisised for pulling out of tackles have now gone5

This makes me sad.Callumcafc said:Jonny has gone on a perm.13 -
Can't wait for the 10.59pm signing of someone that couldn't lace Williams' boots.15

Good luck jonny always gave 100% will be sadly missed thanks for the memories5

Not bothered either have gone and would have been pleased if either Randall or Kirk had signed but underwhelmed with Morris. Getting on a bit and we need young blood in my opinion, young blood we can build the team for the next two or three seasons around.5

Losing Williams and Maddison to get Josh Morris is painfully bad business35

Farewell Jonny

This is getting a desperate situation today our already delpleated squad is getting thinner by the hour with all creativity now left the room1

Sad to see Williams go. Very likeable lad who, although inconsistent, did put in several really excellent performances for us. I think he still had a big part to play in our season but I respect Bows judgement and will keep my powder dry on whether it's a good move until we see who else may be incoming before the window closes.Best of luck Jonny, a notable egg and a good one at that.5

Ah well the outgoings are at least a reminder that the transfer window isn't shut yet1

Why? Maddison obviously wasn’t working out and Jonny’s move was always going to happen once a Championship team came in for him. Neither were regular starters though. If Morris comes in and plays regularly and does well then it’ll be good business. Maddison was clearly never going to play for us again regardless so getting him off the wage bill is a winElliotCAFC said:Losing Williams and Maddison to get Josh Morris is painfully bad business7 -
Like Ipswich's signing of Troy Parrott, seems it didn't really work out at Millwall, but has loads of talent and should be able to do it at this level. Guess we're stuck with the loan limit though0
-
I can’t believe that we would let both leave with just Morris coming in. Surely there must be a positive surprise to come..? Not holding my breath, this is Charlton.ElliotCAFC said:Losing Williams and Maddison to get Josh Morris is painfully bad business0 -
Awful deadline day so far.13

Good lucky Johnny was a pleasure watching you at times, and even had a good chat with you at Stoke away.1

The doom and gloom is quite ridiculous. We’ve sent a bloke who’s never in the squad out on loan and sold a player who doesn’t influence a game to a higher division. Anyone would think our best two players have left the building.35
