Amos 6 - A couple of blocks and the odd catch. Gunter 8 - Very solid and his powerful runs were so difficult for Dons to cope with. Pratley 7 - Did OK for me. Very important player to have fit at the moment. Pearce 8 - Reads the game really well and his pass to Washington was of Naby Sarr ilk. Maatsen 7.5 - So much potential. Destined for the top league and possibly beyond. We are benefitting from his youthful drive down the left Watson 7.5 - Nothing wrong with his passing 1st half as he's base of a diamond, with limited movement ahead of him. Did a very good job for the team and played through a painful ankle for last 15. Gilbey 5 - Looks fit and strong and had one ok shot but left of diamond seemed to stifle him. Rightly withdrawn as was contributing very little. Forster-Caskey 8 - 2nd half was the best I've seen him play. Very mobile, very composed and very intelligent. Looked fit. Maddison 8 - Won't win a tackle or a header (made Rommedahl look like Jack Charlton) but on the ball he sees things others don't. The ability is there and forwards just need to make the runs because he'll find them. Bogle 5 - People should stop comparing him to Aneke. Apart from physique, he doesn't seem to share many of the same attributes. He reminds me of Kenny Achampong; perfectly ok player but playing about two levels above his level. Washington 7 - In and out of the game but scored a very nice goal and kept at it. Williams 8.5 - Movement and technique combined. Dons couldnt cope at all. Brought the others to life too. Aneke 8.5 - Did everything that Bogle didn't. Won headers, rolled defenders, got behind defenders, shot, made life impossible for Dons and made things happen. Unlucky to get booked but VERY lucky not to see red for kicking the ball away. Purrington - has an uncanny knack of cropping up in the penalty box. Oshilaja - won a couple of powerful headers when we went 5 at the back. Ref 7 - bit weird how he seemed to engineer a booking for the oppo keeper. Made him move the ball about 6 inches. Overall easy game to ref.

Pearce: 7 - Great pass for the first but was outmuscled all game by Piggott Maatsen: 7.5 - Good defending and always tries to get forward. Watson: 7.5 - Does a great job of mopping up loose balls and playing simple football Forster-Caskey: 8 - Involved in the game throughout & scored. Maddison: 8 - Looked interested and has great vision & ability. Could make our season of he keeps that up Gilbey: 6 - Struggled to get into the game & wayward passing Bogle: 5 - Does the occasional good thing but generally nothing comes off for him Washington: 8 - Works hard & great goal Williams: 8 - What a response, great runs, scored a goal & assisted our fifth. Meant a lot to him Aneke: 7.5 - Leads the line so well, wins headers & turns defenders Referee: 6 - Should have booked 2 or 3 of them first half, allowed Maddison to be constantly fouled.
Amos: 7 - Relatively quiet game compared to others recently Gunter: 6.5 - Yes, he had a good 2nd half but too many errors in the first for my liking. Pratley: 6.5 - Generally solid but gave Pigott too much space for the equaliser Pearce: 7 - A rock Maatsen: 7 - Good all round game Watson: 6.5 - One of his better games; should have scored! Forster-Caskey: 7 - Buzzed about like a few years ago and even got in the area; much better! Maddison: 8 - Not everything works but some of his passing is fabulous (the ball to Bogle that he fell over was inch perfect!). Gilbey: 5 - Got involved but passing often poor Bogle: 4.5 - Lots of tricky skill but no end product Washington: 7 - Ran his heart out (again) and a good goal Williams: 7.5 - Made a point that when he is on form we need him playing! Aneke: 7.5 - Made such a difference and not afraid to shoot Referee: 5 - 2nd half did well but far too lenient in the first half
