I hope he's having a "substantial meal" with his pint!
They give you a £3 sandwich. Keep the plate and happy days
£3 for a sandwich and a plate isn't bad. If you go back enough times you could put together your own dinner service.

Just seen the follow up pictures - Guiness counts as a "substantial meal" in my book.

And I definitely like the look of his "afters"!

He loves it there, although the 2 time’s he’s been that he’s told us about are at random times so doesn’t meet the fans!
Maybe he should buy the pub, could do with some investment and an extension? Thomas? Come on

I was sceptical when he first showed up, chiefly because of the speed with which he wanted to own a south London club he had zero connection to.
But I have to say; we completely lucked out.
That interview with Minto from Saturday, where he gets choked up, is amazing.
A foreign owner with a heart and passion for CAFC.
We bloody deserve this after the last few years.
    One Thomas Sandgaard indeed!

  • He had a substantial meal, bought a substantial round and is a genuine man of substance. Total gent with nice friends and family, really does seem the real deal.

Charlton's Danish connection is well established. It started in 1982, with a transfer coup to sign Allan Simonsen, a former European Footballer of the Year, from Barcelona, where he had lost his place to Diego Maradona.

Oh, Thomas ........ I can't believe you've completely ignored  Charlton's legendary Danish signings 'Lille' Viggo Jacobsen and (ex ice hockey player) Johnny Ostergaard signed in 1979,
Remember, Simonsen was only good enough to make his Charlton debut in our reserve team. True.

We actually gave Thomas a copy of that programme with Danish international Ostergaard ( shame it was ice hockey ) and Jackobsen holding the Danish national flag on the cover.

Is Freeman still our owner in waiting ? He seems to have gone very quiet since he said that he's always wanted to own a football club.

He’s going about his business quietly, effectively and I’m sure ruthlessly.
I like the cut of his gib.

NB That business being to find someone stupider still to buy Lex Dominus for 50p and a lb of grapes more than he did...

    Very good.

I can't believe Thomas has never heard of our Great Danes, Jacobsen and Ostergaard.

Mind you, it seems most of our fans haven't either!

    We're getting old Oggy!
  • For the sake of completeness, the CAST Q&A poll of favourite Danish Charlton player included them but they didn't get any votes. Neither did Stefan Andersen.

Oggy, he did recognise Jacobsen but not Ostergaard.

He didn't know about the link up with Hvidore

I wonder if he knows about our link up with Inter Milan? Is that still a thing?
