Doesnt overly bother me to be honest - Provided they're still putting in enough effort when playing for Charlton and havent set up an opposition goal deliberately due to bungs etc.
Always think that the tribalism should be left to the fans, would prefer to see both sets of players get on with the job
If there is enough Sporting nature from both sets of players during the game then it makes it better for me, similar to how one West Brom defender knew he was in a battle with Josh Davison at the Valley last January, the two got in a tangle at one point with both of the floor, part of me thought: "Ooo here we go, the West Brom player isnt going to like that" - Instead he got up, held out his hand to help Josh up, slapped him on the back and they got on with it
Its still only a game that has unfortunately been infested and ruined with money
Anyone remember a fella on the Charlton scene called Lester? Played a Sunday league game against him once and quite bizarrely when I scored he celebrated and joined in our bundle on the floor! Not show what his team mates made of it all
If it's the Lester that I sort of knew, he played for a really really shite team in the Bexley and District who's name escapes me for now but who I remember beating 16-0 on one occassion and similar scores on others...around 1985 - 87?

No, this would have been around 1994. Tall with long hair then (him not me!). Bexley + District was junior football if I remember so could be if that’s what you meant.

Yes this was Junior football, so may be the same Lester (he was tall and had long hair...there cant be many Charlton Fans called Lester...). The team may have been Longlands (or something like that)..
