Bess was a bit rubbish in the second innings, but it's still a massive call to drop him. How long is it since Mooen bowled in a red ball match, never mind bowling well?

fairly certain stones is there as a backup to archer, and woakes as backup for broad/anderson. if he plays that's 2 very similar bowlers in the attack.2

That century in Chennai in 2016 though was the last one he's scored for England. Indeed he's only scored 2 50s in the whole of 2018 and 2019 when he was dropped/restedChizz said:

Good first session for the lads. Always think you’ve got half a chance when you get Pujara and Kohli for less than 50 combined.
