No not Farnell!

An agreement has been reached for Kyril Louis-Dreyfus to buy Stewart Donald's controlling interest in Sunderland, paving the way for a takeover.
The Frenchman will become chairman in the new year, subject to approval by the English Football League.

Aged just 22, Louis-Dreyfus, the son of former Marseille owner Robert Louis-Dreyfus, would become the youngest chairman in English football.
"We respectfully await the EFL's approval for this transaction," Louis-Dreyfus said.

Depends on how much money he wants to spend. On the face of it it doesn’t seem like a recipe for long term stability but who knows. Read his mother is worth £5.6 billion and his trust fund £2 billion. Could be one to watch. Not as rich as El Kashashy but pretty rich.

If he is worth that much, why buy Sunderland ?

I don't think you understand the concept of a 'would ya'

Sunderland chairman Kyril Louis-Dreyfus has increased his shareholding in the club to 51%, amid interest in the Black Cats from a cryptocurrency group.

Louis-Dreyfus took over the club in 2021 and he has now acquired shares held by Charlie Methven and former owner Stewart Donald.

Cryptocurrency group The Fans Together had aimed to buy shares from the pair.

In addition to Louis-Dreyfus increasing his share in the club, co-owner Juan Sartori has, in parallel, increased his own stake to 30%.

Methven has sold all of his shares, while Donald's stake now stands at 19%.

I was thinking more ebbsfleet United and what happened there. I mean having it as a dao is a lil risky - who’s to stop a whale buying up the dao tokens to vote on changing them to doge United?
