2021 Prediction Knock Out Cup 1st Round Draw **DRAW 5TH POST DOWN**

The draw for the 1st Round of the Prediction Knock Out Cup will be at 4 pm on Sunday 27th December with matches taking place over the first weekend of the New Year. You can watch the draw live at this link.

I will post the draw in this thread shortly after completing the live draw.

If you need a reminder of the rules, they follow below.

The rules:

1. For each round of the Prediction Knock Out Cup, you will face a fellow competitor. To take part, you will have to do nothing more than you do for the Prediction League. Your score for the Prediction League will count as the score in the Cup. For each tie, the competitor with the higher score will proceed to the next round.
2. Rounds will take place over two weeks. Where the first game is a draw, a replay will take place the following week.
3. If both games result in a draw, the winner will be the competitor most recently scoring higher than their opponent. For example, if two matches are draws in weeks 20 and 21, the player getting the higher score in week 19 would be deemed to 'win on penalties'. If week 19 were also a draw, week 18 would be used as the decider and so on.
4. To score points in the Prediction Knock Out Cup, you must make your predictions. In the League, you can miss three predictions for which you receive the average score for that week. Competitors not making an entry will score no points in the Prediction Knock Out Cup even if they receive the week's average score in the League.
5. Where there is a drawn replay for which both players have chosen the same games, the player posting first will be deemed to 'win on penalties' and rule 3 will not apply. 
6. Losers in the 1st Round of the Prediction Knock Out Cup are automatically entered into the less prestigious Johnstones Paint Knock Out Cup.

    I'm like Charlton. I don't do cups, although I actually made it to the second round for the first time last year; every other year it's been a first round exit. @Badger is on to any easy win, I suspect.
