10' Looks like Watson's afternoon is over. He's limped off and set to be replaced by Gilbey. #hcafc 0 #cafc 0

Now can we play with out Watson or Pratley in midfield?
    We normally do.

If you weren't gonna bring on Deji then it should have been maddinson.

I'm keeping track of the 'moments of ineptitude' from Bogle.

    He's on three now.

Tame effort. Good build-up from Honeyman as he finds Wilks, but the winger's effort is into the gloves of Amos. 0-0

  • If you weren't gonna bring on Deji then it should have been maddinson.
But then Maddison would have to sit in front of defence the same way Gilbey now is

You got to feel for Watson.

He's now got to sit in the dug out, in freezing cold winds, and watch this dross for 80 minutes.

  • No linesman... That was very generous!!!

    No, JFC would

Hmmm, lino flags Gunter for a foul in their area when I thought we'd won a corner.

Reading some of the comments on here ... WTF is wrong with some people?!

"I'm not paying a tenner to watch that side again" and variations thereof ... call yourself Charlton fans?

If we'd all taken that approach through our supporting lives the club would have folded long ago.

By all means criticise team selection, performances, etc after watching the game but get behind the lads FFS.
It makes no difference to the result what anyone says on here.
It may not impact the result today but it does impact the club's revenue and, ultimately, future results.
  • So correct me if I'm wrong but we have 2 right footed players - Matthews and Morgan - playing on the left.

    Really don't understand this tactic.

Instead of being mainly responsible for it

Not really. JFC could play a little deeper and let Maddison push forward.

No point passing to Matthews & expecting to attack. No left foot so all he does is pass it back again.

Why did he take the throw from there? We were in their territory!

This Watson injury is the sort of massive stroke of luck we couldn't have legislated for. Already looking brighter

JFC massively overhits his pass down the wing so it goes out for a goal kick.
  • We're playing 4-4-2 with Morgan and Maatsen wide

So its both JFC and Gilbey in front of the defence...

    We look very disjointed
  • JFC has one more of those balls until bowyer runs on and twats him.
