He was my first football hero when I got into watching MOTD as a kid in the late 60's. He was slowly replaced by Killer when I started going to the Valley. Thanks Colin you were a true quality midfielder RIP
He could run and run and run. I always saw myself when playing as a kiddie as a cross between Bell and Allan Clarke. Saw him on tv once trying from the edge of the penalty area to kick a ball through three car tyres hanging from the crossbar - took him three goes! RIP great man.
Wonderful player. I was at what I think was his last game for Bury, 3-0 against CAFC at Gigg Lane on 5 Mar 66, this skinny blond kid who just ripped us to pieces. RIP.
