I would like to know how long Smyth has been preparing for being played at wing back tonight, I'm not blaming him clearly but has it been in training the last few days?

To go to 5 at the back when we have 2 fit centre backs, and have to move the obvious wing back choice to centre back and stick someone else out there in his place is quite hard to work out in my head
