fees don't come into the cap so we could pay 10m if we wanted toLonelyNorthernAddick said:
Absolutely can't see us keeping Famewo on a permanent. We had to renegotiate the loan to keep him nevermind buy him and I'm sure we'd have to pay pretty big money to Norwich to buy him, which just isnt possible in the cap right now. Think the two will be Shinnie and Stockley.Covered_End_Lad said:Bows has said in his latest press conference that we ar elooking to turn 2 of our loans into permanents. My guess would be Shinnie and Famewo. Fingers crossed as Akin on a perm would be huge.

Do we know the re-neg with Norwich wasn't to add up an 'Option to buy' clause to his contract?
3 -
I'd sign Stockley and Famewo in a heart beat, not sure about Shinnie

@LargeAddick
Just thought similar. Do we know Stockley isn't on an option to buy?0 -
I would take Shinnie on a perm until the end of the season so it's not a loan. I am not sure I would give him 18 months at the moment.
Stockley, how ever, I would.0 -

well he's out of contract in the summer anyway isn't he?0 -
I think Stockley is contracted to Preston until 2022.LargeAddick said:Dazzler21 said:@LargeAddick

Norwich made us renegotiate? Dispute him being injured for over half the time he has been here? Where would they have sent him instead.LonelyNorthernAddick said:

being twisted and bitter, I hope they have a bad end of season and only make the playoffs.1 -
Does seem a bit weird that we had to re-sign Akin? Unless there was a clause in the loan deal that said he must play x amount of games before January else a recall is triggered?
Or maybe we went back and asked for a lower wage contribution0 -
Famewo is surely on too high a salary for us.
Signed a new deal with Norwich when they were a PL club. Must be on 5k a week surely? Amount of money floating around the PL even the tea ladies earn that.0 -

Yes but what was the reneg about?1
-
The way I see it, they must've wanted to move him somewhere else or brought him back. Either to a team in Champ as they might've felt he was up to it, or to their own side.Dazzler21 said:Yes but what was the reneg about?0 -
probably couldn't afford to pay him, but Yaya Sanogo (remember him?) is a free agent according to wikipedia.1
-
I do, BUT can he play centre 1/2 ?Alex Wright said:probably couldn't afford to pay him, but Yaya Sanogo (remember him?) is a free agent according to wikipedia.2 -
Shinnie, Stockley and Famewo on perms beyond the end of this season would be amazing.0
-
Andreas Skovgaard. Centre back who happens to come from Denmark, became a free agent on the 1st Feb. Aged 23. Value on transfer market £630k. No idea what that means in reality. Gotta say Bowyer is right, there is not a lot out there.0
-
Doesn’t matter - Bowyer is excellent at converting players...Lincsaddick said:

And I doubt that any could be anywhere near fit enough - it'd be 6 weeks probably to get up to speed and before any of those could contribute to the 1st team.Redrobo said:

Don't forget though ........ Steve Gallen did say last week that there was some room under the cap, and was considering signing a free agent.
The cap has now gone, of course. Do you know if many now free agents had their contract cancelled in January? If so, their fitness wouldn't be too far behind.
No, not you, Joe Ledley.

Interesting there were two trialists for the u23s today. Wonder was that taking a look at people in the hope the cap would be abolished0
-
Maynard-Brewer injured today.
Might need a free agent keeper. Shame Elliot went to Watford.2
