That's because they are both too slow.
Watson is 35 and many opponents are just quicker over the first half yard, just a split-second too quick for Watson in the tackle.. Hence the bookings.
Gilbey right now is too slow also ..... after a nasty achilles injury he's yet to recover quick acceleration. It's typically what happens to players after an achilles injury. He'll unintentionally catch his opponent late in the tackle - and the bookings follow.
