03:58:50 for me today. So pleased to get under 4 hours but it was a real slog with it being warmer than expected. 16 minutes off the previous time I did a marathon, also London, but that was in 2014 and I'm now 43! Very happy!
Here's something to keep you going then... Non elite runners tend to hit their peak in their mid to late 40's.

3:45 before you're 50 😉
The missus would probably kill me doing another one! I'm tempted to enter the ballot though 😬
What a great day, had so much support all the way round but Greenwich in particular was incredible. Big thanks to @AFKABartram, yours was the first face I recognised so was a great boost.
I had a lot of "Cmon Charlton"s throughout the day so was glad to be running with the badge.
Finished in 4:12:50, I paced for 4:13:10 so I'm very happy with that.
Struggled a bit between mile 17 and Canary Wharf but just kept the legs moving.
Very proud of what I've raised for CACT.
Big congrats to @AllHailTheHen, that's a brilliant time.
My main observation of the marathon on Sunday was the behaviour of the crowd. People cheering on complete strangers, shouting encouragement every step, every stride, calling names again of complete strangers, urging people to keep going.
The best of what we call humanity was on show throughout.

You're not wrong, Bob. If it wasn't for the crowd I'd have struggled a lot more to get around the course. The atmosphere really is something else and you can't help but get emotional at the end when everyone is cheering so loudly for the runners.
