Mary, along with the late Florence Ballard, were the soul of the Supremes.
Tony Blackburn used to play theirs and other early Tamla Motown records all the time on the pirate radio stations, and once famously played Stop! In The Name of Love three times in succession.
Really good piece here that documents Mary Wilson's life, as told by Mary Wilson herself. It's just 17 minutes long, but very informative and interesting imo.

RIP Mary, and thanks for music that is frankly eternal.
One of the greats from the golden era of Motown, which in turn is one of the highlights of music, full stop.
Very sad news, too young.
