Afternoon all. I'm not tripped up by a 6pm ko, so you'll all be thrilled to know today's Match Thread is in full production.
Big thanks to @aliwibble for keeping the show on the road last time.
Well, Mr Robinson will be looking forward to putting one over on his former club. It's down to you, Bow to outwit him.
"But if we do the basics right, we are a good side. We showed that on Tuesday ....".
Yep, spot on, Lee. Get the basics right. And let's start strongly.
Gilbey and Inniss return to training next week. And Prat's is suspended, again.
Chuks looks like he's ok.
Unchanged!!
Thought you'd get the garden sorted today? Think again:
Supporters who are yet to purchase a pass for Saturday's game can do so here.
Live on Charlton TV, the Scott Minto Show, starring Curbs and Robert Lee, looking for his old turnstile. Starts on Valley Pass 2.15pm
Terry & Greg on commentary, joined today by Brownie to tell us all what went wrong in defence.
Quite a package. All we need is a win on the road.
COYR!

Yep can't complain about that at all.ForeverAddickted said:Unchanged team... Good to see
Unfortunately I get the feeling that we are about to get played off the park by a Karl Robinson team. But if we can keep it tight and nick a goal on the counter, and defend it well, that will do me just fine.1 -

Don't care what you say Karl, there's no way you used to wear this jacket.Scoham said:Caption competition5 -
I worry now that Chuks’ or Mastsen’s hamstrings are going to go twang inside the first twenty minutes. But got to be happy to see an unchanged side named. Something we haven’t done often enough this season. I’m particularly pleased to see Matthews retained, I think he’s another one, like JFC, who takes a few matches to get fully up to speed and I think when he’s playing well he offers us a bit more than Gunter. He got forward very well the other night.0

Hi Robbo, need a new assistant?Scoham said:Caption competition2 -
oh dear that means I'll have to use blue for us on the 1st page of the statbank, don't like that but if we win........ForeverAddickted said:Playing in our blue kit this afternoon...0 -
Hopefully they're only needed to give them a morale boosting run out when we're 4-0 upeastterrace6168 said:

Is Lee punishing Albie for some indiscretion?1

The Tank ..... I can remember Ron Atkinson playing for Oxford at The Valley about 1969 or 1970.killerandflash said:I thought that was Ron Atkinson playing for them! Robbo deciding to bring back a club legend to add a bit of experience up top
His skinny brother Graham wore the number 8 shirt.
Things you remember from when you were young. Can't even remember what I did yesterday now.

Great to see that Brownie is back on the commentary, let's hope he can weave his optimism and knowledge into a good result, Robert Lee is back with Curbs, and he has bought yet another offspring to the party
