Smackdown was the first Saudi Show i've watched in full. This year it's WWE show taking place in Saudi (where they've stupidly booked Punk) previous years they've been Saudi WWE shows booked by the sheik!

The early shows were really bad. Crowd was quiet and they were mute for the women. At least now they feel like a part of the show and do cheer for the women. Imagine Rhea Ripley will still get a huge pop as a megastar.
5 weeks from a two night summerslam and not really anything I am overly excited about on the rumoured card. Probably doesn’t help they’ve got SNME and women’s PPV to come before they can concentrate on summerslam.
Rhodes v Cena 2 will probably headline the second night of the show.
The word "run" might be a bit generous there. Of the five people who came only Zayn seemed to act with any urgency. That finish was horribly booked and awfully executed. Absolute garbage.
In general a lot of the booking, TV formatting, reliance on tropes and just general direction is all slipping a bit far back into 2010's for me. Getting back to feeling like I'm watching out of habit rather than enjoyment, and clinging to any decent angle as if everythings about to turn around start getting suddenly better.
The period after Vince left / HHH took over was brilliant. It then all seemed to go south once it went to Netflix.
Sponsors being shoe horned in to matches at every opportunity, politics impacting Wrestlemania booking.
Genuinely think HHH is an outstanding booker when he has full control, and he showed it with his time running NXT and then the main roster from 2023-2024.
But the external influences are bringing the quality down (even if they keep profits up).
IMO the product peaked at the Elimination Chamber at start of March. The European tour before mania felt flat but not sure it has ever recovered to those heights.
Feel like it’s the opposite to Vince booking when everything is so slow storyline wise.
Creative absolutely butchered The New Day heel turn back from December. The heat they had from kicking out Big E was special, but they took ages to put the title on them and offered nothing for them after they won the title. The Cena heel run has been very average IMO.
Getting a bit annoyed with the run’s in every main event and the amount of non-finishes/distractions every week.
Big LA Knight fan so really hoping that we will see him pushed into a title scene for the rest of the calendar year.
I only watch AEW but it looked like WWE were entering a golden era with HHH in charge and leaving AEW in the dust. Is WWE really getting crap again?
Got me personally I felt a big in drop in quality at the end of last year , and feels like it's been getting slowly worse, big angles and "moments" aside (which WWE always do well). I watch AEW too, but that end of the year I wasn't enjoying either companies output. Whereas I feel like AEW now has been very good for the best part of this year while WWE is getting really bad currently.

Humiliation tour for CM 'Punk'.
Remember watching some of the early shows and they were absolutely terrible, at least now they fit into the current storylines.

Hopefully be a good show tonight.

Jade is no where need ready for her current push.
5 weeks until a 2 night show with 2 specials before that is insane. They're doing far too much.
Would like to see him and Gunther in a program at some point.
Totally unrelated, but good to see El Grande Americano back so quickly from injury, seems to have got a bit taller too...

New day must have had one fight since winning at Mania
Now everyone is going after Gunthers title which they seem to have ignored since Mania.
Kross attacking Zayn but then doesn't appear in the main event
It all seems a mess booking wise

After such a promising Elimination Chamber and night 1 wrestlemania, it has all gone a bit flat.
