I'll just copy and paste what I've said in the last 27 games - not a classic, is it?
The game is crying out for Aneke. And surprisingly I'd bring him on for Stockley - Washington is making some good runs.
And what on earth has happened to Millar? First couple of games I thought he was the real deal but he's been hopeless again tonight.
He's technically tidy but he's a knock it and run player. And when those kinds of players are off, they're really off. Think Shaun Wright-Phillips at Chelsea. He's also unfortunate to be on the right where he can't cut inside and drift and work it onto his right for a shot.
I'd switch him and Morgan for the first ten, see how they get on, then think about making subs.
Still very pedestrian & predictable. Awful crossing apart from the first 5 mins. How anyone can think that these players can get into the play-offs let alone win them is beyond me.
Must be the worst "team" I've seen play in my 48 years of supporting CAFC. Just so slow & no real attacking threat. Killer would have walked off & lit up a fag whilst waiting for any service.
Decent crosses in, decent passes to players in good positions. Wrong decisions made by the players in those positions every time. Solid, obvious to say, but we need a goal.
Something has to change for Millar. Either take him off at HT for Aneke and push Washington wide or straight swap for DJ. Alternatively, give him 10 mins on the left to see what he can do out there. Albie should be fine sitting in front of Gunter.
Unfortunately he's been rather ineffective wherever he's played recently so my inclination would be to go for the subs.
It seems my stream is almost 5 minutes behind today!
I think we've played quite well as individuals, but some concerning lack of chemistry still and JFC pumping the ball up to stockley every two minutes, but we've looked better building up our attacks today. Aneke IMO would have got more involved.
You've got a Darren Pratley hattrick to look forward to
Not sure why left footed Millar is on the right & right footed Albie Morgan is on the left.
Team looking a bit jointed & game scrappy.
They’re both right footed.
I think it’s because Maatsen just gets in Millars way and leaves us exposed. Gunter and Millar linked up really well a couple of times but I’m not against putting him back on the left
