Carol was a lovely lady who over the period of the lockdown I/we got to know quite well. I mainly communicated via twitter/text and Lynne spoke to her on the phone a couple of times. I could hear Lynne laughing with her as the chatted like they'd known each other for years so its good to know we brought some smiles to her last months, sadly we couldn't make her wish of meeting puppy Bowyer happen but being the lady she was I'm sure she'll understand. Bless you Carol and thank you for caring xx
This is something close to my heart. The survival rates for Pancreatic cancer have barely improved over the last 50 years. That is unbelievable when you think how the world has advanced in so many ways, over the same period of time. The Pancreatic Cancer UK charity are raising money at the moment with philanthropists agreeing to double the amount raised. 2 days left for matching.

I only managed to put a "name to a face" a year or so ago via FB as I'd come across Carol on many occasions on matchdays.
She was a dear lady who "wore" her cancer as a badge of courage.
Yet another brave Addick taken far too early.
Sleep tight, lovely Carol. x
