Are people seriously slagging JJ off after literally 24 hours into the job? Jesus Christ.

Maatsen continues to show he’s a liability
    He is so naive.
    He just cannot defend.

Maatsen sends the ball forward towards Stockley and Rovers have to hoof it out on the left.

Amos is no Dillon when it comes to saving penalties
    He's no Dillon full stop

I despise half of these players. Can't wait for this season to end

Not sure how you can unshackle a bunch of players in their 30s.

This is all they know. The problem is signing them in the first place.

    This is embarrassing.

Seriously, am I the only mug who thought we’d see them with a spring in their step?

Millar heads back to Maatsen but his cross doesn't beat the first man

25' | Chance! Ayunga flicks a pass-through to Nicholson, who in turn takes a touch to break towards goal. With Amos to beat, the winger hits a low effort that the Charlton 'keeper beats away with his legs. #CAFC 0-1 #BRFC

Brownie sounding like someone who put £50 on Cowley being the next Birmingham manager
    Wot he sayin ?
  • Bristol Rovers are rubbish away from home so an easy game for JJ to start with. We will benefit from the new manager bounce.

These 2 down our left are a fucking joke. They haven’t gelled at all. Maatsen so poor defensively and offers nothing going forward. Millar too afraid to shoot and has no end product

Offside, Charlton Athletic. Ben Amos tries a through ball, but Jayden Stockley is caught offside

Serious question. When was the last time we had a player who could reliably cross a ball? Feels like aeons to me. Even when we were told we'd signed the best crosser of a ball in the League (Mark Marshall) he turned out to be shit at it.

Rovers cross in from our left with Washington chasing back (?!) but Gunter can chest back to Amos.

I think Jacko has taken us as far as he can. It's probably time for him to step aside.

I think most of our first team could do with a spell in the academy learning how to strike and pass the ball!

    Shocking all over the pitch.
