Young, Faye and Rommedahl have not featured in the friendlies, so I guess they're the ones going. Probably looks like we're going to be stuck with Bent for now

How many times did Chopra score for Newcastle in the Prem League (whether from the bench or within a run of games)? 1 goal from 21 appearances - ratio of 0.04 goals per game. In Championship or lower when on loan or signed perm. 44 goals in 91 games - ratio 0.48 goals per game.

Point being, we are in a lower division and some of our what looked like 'average to poor' Prem players will be 'good to average' Championship players at least, AS LONG AS they APPLY themselves and I get the distrinct impression that Pards will not let anything else occur, otherwise the stiffs or out!

Question for me is will the team gel and be effective enough collectively to get us back up, but man to man I expect to see a marked improved performance at this level from all of them. Some may even fool us into believing that they will be cracking Prem players, but hopefully we'll be having more of that debate next close season when the arguments will be more meaningful.

'stiffs or out', hardly a threat when you've got a cast iron £20k+ contract and a new page 3 girl waiting for you every weekend.

Souly Diawara - STAY no feasible takers
Ben Thatcher - STAY, why would he leave?
Amady Faye - STAY no feasible takers
    Dennis Rommedahl - GONE
Andy Reid - STAY, he wants to stay and we want him.
Jerome Thomas - STAY, he wants to stay and we want him.
Darren Ambrose - Hmmm, interesting that he has not appeared so far but who would want him?
Marcus Bent - STAY no feasible takers
