End of an era..........

No, nothing to do with Spurs, Mourinho or ESL but the Prudential logo. The famous red picture of Prudence is no longer going to represent one of the oldest Insurance Companies in the UK - if not the world.

Instead its going to be a plain red box with the words PRU underneath.

heads will roll...............

  • Not a slow news day is it!!
  • I genuinely couldn’t tell you what the current logo actually is.
  • I still haven't got over Scottish Widows replacing the original.
  • Is this what is called a first world problem?

    I’m not sure it’s even a problem!

If Golfie thinks it's a problem, then it's a problem.

    I, for one, am ambivalent.

not a problem - just a light hearted moment, although I mainly raised it because I once worked for the "mighty Pru" (although not technically "the man from the Pru" as I never collected weekly premiums) and to me its an iconic symbol / trademark.  A bit like the British Gas flame, or the British Rail arrow tracks (oops.......they've gone too) - its part of our heritage which is slowly being lost.

Maybe to you, but it's all a bit Vienna to me. Certainly nothing like the other logo's you mentioned.
