  • Amos: 6.5
    Matthews: 6
Famewo: 6 poor first half, looked better on the left of a back 3
Pearce: 4.5 stupid booking, then lost his way defensively
Purrington: 6 awful distribution but ok defensively
    Watson: 5 off the pace
    F-C: 6 tired
Gilbey: 7.5 Goal and assist, but also looked sharp
Millar: 6.5 our one outlet in the first half
    Stockley: 6.5 well taken goal
    Maatsen: 5.5
    Washington: 6
    Aneke: 6.5
Referee: 6 a couple of unnecessary bookings, but got the main decisions right

  • Amos: 6 Nothing to do
Matthews: 7 Did ok I thought
Famewo: 7.5 Played some good football
Pearce: 6 Thought he did not lead!
    Purrington: ok
Watson: 4: Sits to deep hence causing to much space in midfield for opposition.
F-C: 6 quiter than usual but still key
    Gilbey: 8 good game
Millar: 7 Good but we need to get away from formation that sits him not the team.
Stockley: 7.5 Needs support, would have changed formation and started Aneke up front with him.
Maatsen: 5 Didnt do a lot.
    Washington: 6 Made an impact.
Aneke: 7.5 Should have started! Adkins needs to get out of rut of playing 4:3:3
    Referee: 4

    Innis: n/a
    Pratley: n/a
  • Amos: 6 Did nothing wrong.
    Matthews: 6.5 Played well enough.
Famewo: 6 Not the player he was pre injury, but was playing on the wrong side.
Pearce: 5 Sorry to say, but he got done for both the goals.
    Purrington: 6
Watson: 5 At fault with Pearce for first goal, let the man get away from him. Soooo sloooow, plays in slow motion
F-C: 6 Back to the JFC of previous seasons.
Gilbey: 7.5 MOM a pity only him & Millar turned up in midfield.
Millar: 7 I thought he was doing good & very surprised he was subbed.
Stockley: 7 Did well enough & scored again.
Maatsen: 5 Like Watson, added bugger all.
    Washington: 6
Aneke: 7 If we'd played him more central we may have won the game.
Referee: 5 He was ok apart from the usual soft bookings.

    Amos: 6
    Matthews: 5.5
Famewo: 5 didn't look comfortable at all
Pearce: 4 he's been so good recently but this was an awful showing in such an important game
    Purrington: 5
Watson: 4 passenger for the whole game. Might as well started with another attacker. So immobile and offered absolutely no out ball for our defence which meant they just played terrible long balls straight back to the Crewe defenders
F-C: 5 very poor along with Watson. Didn't get in the game and again never had the ability to find himself some space to receive the ball.
Gilbey: 7.5 goal and an assist and actually got about the pitch
Millar: 7 our only threat whilst he was on the pitch
Stockley: 6 great finish but no idea why he didn't target their 18 year old centre back. Didn't win as many headers and the balls up to him were hopeless. Don't know if this was the game plan but he just sat off their defenders in contrast to their striker who cut off all the passing lanes when our defenders had the ball. Either way it was an awful decision and the team just sat deeper and deeper until the inevitable.
Maatsen: 4.5 never really in the game. Would have preferred him to Watson in midfield because at least he is dynamic
    Washington: 6
    Aneke: 6
Referee: 6 strange booking on Gilbey right after their already booked player made an identical foul on maatsen to stop a dangerous attack

I'm gutted. We looked second best all over the pitch tonight. Can't believe how deep we were was painful.

    Amos: 6
    Matthews: 5.5
Famewo: 6.5 (Very sloppy first half but strong 2nd)
    Pearce: 5.5
Purrington: 7 (Best defender on the night)
Watson: 5.5 (Couldn't get to grips with Crewes midfield)
F-C: 6 (Tired under par performance)
Gilbey: 7.5 (MOTM, Goal, Assist and our best player thoughout)
Millar: 7 (Positive is a real outlet and threat on counter)
Stockley: 7 (Extra half mark for goal)
    Maatsen: 5.5

    Washington: 6
    Aneke: 6.5

Referee: 5 (Kettle is by far the worst ref in the football league for me but was expecting worse from him)

  • Amos: 6 - Didn't do much or have a very good game
Matthews: 6.5 - Some good moments
Famewo: 6.5 - Looks good most of the time but lost at others
Pearce: 6 - Struggled to contain sriker and cover Famewo
Purrington: 6.5 - Hands full with Dale but did OK mostly
    Watson: 5.5 - Looked tired
    F-C:  5 - Looked very tired
Gilbey: 5 - Looked knackered, but did score
Millar: 5.5 - So frustrating; went backwards too much
Stockley: 4.5 - Scored but did sod all else
Maatsen: 4 - He is not a right winger and was very poor once more
Washington: 7 (MoM) - Brightened up the front line and could have scored
Aneke: 6.5 - So powerful but not his night to make a big impact
Referee: 2 -- So inconsistent; fouls when there were none, not blowing when obvious shirt pulls or pushes, six yellows in a very un-dirty game. It's all about him...

Amos: 6.5, Cant remember doing anything wrong but also wasn't very busy. Couldn't do anything for either goal
Matthews: 6 ok but we didn't really see much going forward as under pressure.
Famewo: 6, Started poor but grew into the game
Pearce: 5.5 might have been at fault for both goals although might be critical?
Purrington: 5.5 Poor going forward like a rabbit in headlights, also easily beaten
    Watson: 5.5 not involved enough
J-F-C: 7, always gets on the ball and works hard for the team, Mr reliable for me
Gilbey: 7 looked good in bits and some nice bits of play
Millar: 6.5 he scared their right back, however he does go back far too often needs to try and beat his man more, feels like hes playing a bit scared
Stockley: 6.5 Great header (shock) i still am not too confident with him in the side on his own up top, we lump balls forward which he can win but no pace to get in behind teams, needs to be played with a quick striker. Still doing a good job
Maatsen: 5.5 didn't really get into the game much and defensively he isn't much protection
Washington: 6.5 looked lively and a threat
Aneke: 6.5 offers more than stockley for me, unlucky not too score
Referee: 6.5, not as bad as expected/normal

Gilbey: 7.5 - Our most dynamic midfielder, would've been really flat without him
    Millar: 6
Stockley: 7 - Good header, dangerous in the air - wish he could use his feet
    Maatsen: 5.5 - Missing
Washington: 6.5 - Caused them issues immediately

Referee: 3 (how does this geezer nick a living as a referee, without doubt the worst referee along with Stroud) I've given him 3 for not trying to find a reason to disallow both our goals and making it onto the pitch in the first place (1 point for each achievement!!)

  • Amos: 6 - didn’t make any saves of note but picked the ball out of the net twice
    Matthews: 7 solid today
Famewo: 7 - a couple of iffy moments but mostly good
Pearce: 5.5 - not good today
Purrington: 7.5 - played well and burst forward effectively on a couple of occasions
    Watson: 6.5 - too slow
    F-C: 7 - too one footed
Gilbey: 9 MOM while he does go missing at time, you can’t argue with an assist and a goal and some other good work
Millar: 7 - some good some bad
Stockley: 6.5 - plus one for the goal but by and large he spends the whole game heading it to no one
Maatsen: 6.5 - subdued today and almost got himself sent off
Washington: 8.5 - lots of the usual running from a Conor, good to see him back
Aneke:8.5 - did well, the way he controls the ball and runs into the box is chalk and cheese compared with Stockley
Referee: 5 - - 1 for Kettle time at the end, some soft bookings

Amos: 6 - A decent punch and that was about it.
Matthews: 5.5 - Offered very little coming forward.
Famewo: 7 - Liked the way he nipped in a few times
Pearce: 5 - Went for Famewo's header and that started the panic in the last min.
    Purrington: 6 - Did ok.
Watson: 6 - Looked as composed as anyone but not mobile enough and will be replaced for next season.
F-C: 6 - Lots of effort but not much came off for him.
Gilbey: 7 - Some good bits, including another goal and a very good cross for Stockley.
Millar: 6 - Did carry a threat but end product lacking.
Stockley: 6 - Great diving header (a trade-mark Derek Hales near-post diving header) but lacks mobility. Tried throughout though.
Maatsen: 5 - Looked lost at RW, which is shame because he made a good fist of it at Donny.
Washington: 6.5 - Perked us up a bit with his off the ball runs. I'd chuck him in on Saturday.
Aneke: 6.5 - We definitely looked more of a threat with him. Time to start him and play him until he breaks (which shouldn't be too long).
Referee: 5 - A couple of soft bookings but also right not to stand for Pearce's nonsense.

Innis: n/a - Did his best in that last minute action but ultimately wasn't quite strong enough.
