Amos: 8 - save at 0-0 probably changed the outcome of the match
Matthews: 8 - thought he had a blinder going forward, their goal came down his side but haven't watched it back
Innis: 7.5 - good corner routine and header for the goal, dominated in the air as per usual, goal goes down as a missed tackle
Famewo: 7.5 - very solid, Stevie Brown said he gets pulled around a bit but I didn't particularly see it
    Purrington: 7 - a PurringtonTM 7/10 for me
F-C 7 - was fine whilst he was on, tidy on the ball as per, but was there whilst we were struggling to get the midfield involved
Watson: 7.5 - thought he had a bad start, but grew into the game and had a very good second half
Gilbey: 7 - lovely dink into Chucks for the first, solid performance without much more attacking return but made the runs
Maatsen: 6.5 - rightly panned for his first half ball retention, but very good performance when back at LB
Stockley: 8 - worked his socks off first half with no support, competed well in the air as always, lovely finish - could have had another.
Millar: 7.5 - came alive in the second half, put a really good ball into maybe Gilbey in the first half that was unlucky he couldn't get on the end of
Morgan: 7.5 - thought he was very tidy on the ball, good decision making, from what I could see he defended well and broke things up a couple of times at least
Aneke: 8 - came on and changed the game, docked 0.5 because he should really have been sent off
Referees: 7 (although I slightly preferred the first one...)

    Amos: 7.5  Very good season
    Matthews:  7
    Innis: 8
    Famewo: 7
    Purrington: 7
    F-C 6.5
Watson: 7  Not a great first half, Morgan was much more industrious which meant he wasn't flat footed and stuck, so he could do his half turns.
    Gilbey: 7.5  The ever running
Maatsen: 7  Terrible first half, his best lb performance for months with a very positive 2nd
Stockley: 8.5  Can people not see the effort? Even when in the 2nd half, support players were the inbetweeners and nowhere near he still held it up for an age at times.
Millar: 7.5 Very good second half

Morgan: 9  Gilbey is a brilliant runner, but Albie offers a buzzing positive energy.  Unlike F-C he's dynamic in showing for the ball, stepping out and stepping back quickly to find space.  F-C's lovely on the ball but probes forward, whilst Albie unsettles players and moves it quicker.  Best cm performance I've seen this season, and done against the best pass and move team in the div.  Possibly better with Pratley?  MoM.

Aneke: 7.5  A half of Aneke is a half of brilliance, tragedy and comedy.  Just don't do those Andre the Giant clean outs.

Referee:  7.5  Lincoln got away with a few, Chuks was mad, but the second ref was communicating really well and didn't effect the game negatively.

Amos: 7.5 - a couple of decent stops and sound throughout. He has recovered his early season form
Matthews: 7 - competent and a nice ball to Gilbey in the lead up to the first goal. Just as in his first season with us, he has got better with a run of games. How Gunter has kept him out of the side for most of the season is one of life's mysteries
Innis: 7.5 - solid and imposing. Got the goal he's been constantly threatening with some crafty movement, some dozy defending and a nice finish
Famewo: 7 - got caught out once or twice by Morton's runs but, fortunately, the latter had left his shooting boots at home and Amos was alert
    Purrington: 6 - ok
F-C: 6 - ok but a little pedestrian whilst he was on.
Watson: 6 - crab-like in the first half but, like the rest of the side, improved after the break
Gilbey: 7 - lots of endeavour and good movement. Took up a clever position and delivered a lovely dinked cross for the opening goal
Maatsen: 6.5 - poor and largely anonymous in the first half but much better in the second
Stockley: 8 - an excellent all round display. Battling for the ball in injury time near our corner flag and drawing a foul typified his full-on commitment to the cause
Millar: 7.5 - skied a decent shooting opportunity in the first half but really came into his own in the second period
Morgan: 8 - excellent from Albie. He upped the tempo, harried the opposition and played some fine passes, including a second assist in in four days with a corner whipped in with pace
Aneke: 7.5 - helped to change the game. Following his introduction, he and Stockley ran their central defenders ragged
Referees: 7 - a big thank you to ref number 2 for not sending off Aneke
  • Amos: 7.5 crucial save early doors
    Mathewss: 7 solid performance
Innis: 7.5 did what he does best and scored
Famewo: 6.5 got caught a few times but generally ok
Purrington: 6 ok but not one of his better games
F-C: 6 tried to hard to be the main man
Watson: 6 did just enough to get a six
    Gilbey: 7.5 work rate improving
Maatsen: 6 would have got a 1 on first half performance, got to learn how to pass
Stockley: 8 totally left alone first half, stunning first goal
    Millar: 7 good assist
Morgan: 7.5 changed the complexion of midfield for the better
Aneke: 7.5 made all the difference, great assist and scored
Referees: 7.5 grateful he let Aneke off the second yellow
