Seeing as this is supposed to be a positive thread......
Pressure is on Pompey as its theirs to lose. Also not been on great form & on any given day are prone to players getting sent off or scoring OG's.
Oxford are managed by Gobinson. Burton managed by Mr fat shorts. The latter owes us a favour for his 1 season wanderlust. He only scored 2 league goals for us - both against old teams of his. He will now get a hat trick of sorts by beating our rival.
We play Hull. The ghosts of players past adorned this fixture with Killer's goal of the season taking pride of place. Another 3-0 is on the cards.
This is much too much of a positive for you Golfie!
I cannot see Accrington putting up much of a fight, last game, why would they want to be the club to stop Pompey. I can see home win written all over this.
It has been an eventful season for us. I am glad that there is some kind of interest up to the last game. Then it is the looooong drag until the pre season friendlies. Sigh.
Looking for a positive. The teams playing Oxford and Pompy probably don't want us in league one next season due to the money we have to spend. It's in their own interests for us to go up.
I'm now as delusional as all the other optimists on here.

If Carlsberg made football weekends ......
Dream on my lovely Addicks!

£1 Oxford top 6
£1 Pompey top 6
After @AFKABartram I believe I am the worst gambler in the world so that means pretty much that we are now top 6.
(OK, there is a scenario where Oxford win narrowly and we beat Hull City by a cricket score, but that isn't going to happen).
Even if we win, we only have about a 40% chance of finishing 6th.
Reasons to be optimistic?
Well, this can't all boil down to Ronnie's missed penalty at Oxford, can it? That would just be ridiculous.
