That was a cracker of a show, and without a Charlton match was so relaxing
A great 90 minutes, plus added time and Scott Minto was our best signing last season. A Premier League Presenter in League 1 who always seems to have time on the Mic to bring others into the game.
I didn't realize that Wayne Mumford was an ex pro who played games with Curbs and now has dodgy knees. I thought the son of Mr Mumford said 55 year deal in the pipeline but my wife was trying to pass some trivia info on to me at the time so may have got that wrong.
Some scary guy in a barn was shown, and I think it was an appeal to get him released. I didn't see the phone number to pledge money too so he won't be coming out any time soon.
Thomas Sandgaard has gone into super optimistic mode with blowing League 1 out of the water. No pressure on Nadkins and Steve Gallen much ! But brilliant that instead of having a budget of a bottom 3 Championship club we will have the budget of a top 2 League 1 club; Steve and Nigel will relish the opportunity to find the right guys. At least it may stop us sighing guys that nobody else want and have been training on their own and having a kick about in a local park with 10 year olds who has been fitter than them !
Hope a compromise can be made regarding Charlton TV/ Valley pass or otherwise I may relocate overseas to carry on watching.
There surely won't be a matchday show like this season's if only overseas fans can watch though, hence Mumford talking about a Thursday show
Couldn't watch the show last night, but just sat and watched the entire show this morning. Fantastic show, Scotty, Curbs and Brownie so good, great interviews, special shout to @KillersBeard for the season review. Great to see all the awards especially to Tracey, Mick, Olly and Ben, they were very deserving. I hope Charlton TV is back next season and that Scotty, Curbs and Brownie are fully involved! Excited also about the major sponsorship deal on the verge of being signed! All positive...roll on next season!!

Either Angie has got @Redmidland with her tranquilliser gun or someones hacked his account
I hate owners or chairman sayings things like this unless we are going to be spending millions on players & being the Man City of League 1. Just setting us up for a big fall.
The least surprising opinion I’ve ever seen. The ultimate pessimist doesn’t like the comments of an optimist. Lets face it golfie, you like to view things as glass half empty in order to avoid disappointment. Sandgaard likes to view things as glass half full to motivate and breed ambition.
Not saying either of you are right or wrong, but I’d rather go with Thomas’ approach.

I've said this before on another thread:
Some people are glass half-full optimists.
Some people are glass half-empty pessimists.
Golfie's glass has been nicked by a spotty 13-year-old and smashed in the pub car park.

I hate them not saying it. Aim high and demand we get there. I hate the excuses and reasons why we won't before we even start.
Agree Muttley, But, the whole infrastructure has to be right with decent contracts early doors for the youngsters that look the most talented. With Thomas Sandgaard that is a Shay Given.
We have a chance to really progress on and off the pitch next season and we need more 21's and under to be part of the journey BUT they don't get off at the first stop after having a couple of decent games similar to Doughty. The words of Thomas will be hollow if after getting a couple of MOM awards we lose a youngster to Derby county or Hull City next season.
I was late to the Charlton TV party as I preferred going to games locally but when that option disappeared in early November I jumped abroad and despite the pain, misery and self flagellation of watching the games at home this season our hopes are raised for the next installment of "let's turn the valley into a fortress" for 21/22.
Half full, half Empty or smashed glass in Golfies case. Thomas Sandgaard's glass is overflowing, it may be a good idea to go with the flow as we have had so few reasons for optimism in the last 50 years.

Well, I look forward to the meltdown on here when, half way through the season, we are not top 2 & certainly not "smashing up" the league as we haven't bought a 20 goal a season striker & still relying on Pearce as one of our Centre Halves.
Happy memories of Kish dumping Ronaldo on his arse at regular intervals during on particular game at the Valley, and Ronaldo having a bit of a strop about it.
Is it significant that Mumford said sponsors & partnership ? Maybe it wasn't our old ears playing tricks re 25 years & somebody is making an investment into the club as partners with TS ? Maybe not at this stage but TS did suggest it's a possibility somewhere down the line
I live oop north (have done for 10+ years), so have loved the chance to watch the boys every weekend with a proper pre and post match (the wife not so much). I really hope it continues. I’ve not felt this close to the club for a very long time!
Me too. Absolutely first -rate, thoroughly enjoyed the show!! Very much hope it carries on next season. Curbs, Minto and Brown are one cracking combo...the biz!!! Much more of please!

No. More likely ‘marketing’ speak I.e. something more modest (but still very welcome) dressed up as much more.

At least you won’t be disappointed if that happens.
Like I say, I’d rather aim high and risk a little disappointment than be content with aiming low and expecting the worst, but you keep on being you.

Clearly Curbs favourite player.

Aim high there is plenty of room.
Lady Irving did actually live in a barn. 13th century converted in 1970 into three homes.
"Did you get raised in a barn"... Well yes actually Mum I did!!
Does he think he is an Australian cricketer?
