  • It's great to have proper football back.
    Both games have been excellent.
  • Sunderland suddenly look better again following the penalty miss. Its amazing how often we see these changes in the middle of a game.

It does highlight how a team can suddenly switch from looking fluent to looking disjointed and vice versa due to self belief, determination, disappointment or dejection.
    Attitude is so important.
  • What a chance for Lincoln, that would have settled it.
  • Wyke really is pants.
  • Christ on a bike how did he miss that?
  • 5 minutes....
  • Tom Flanagan on for Sunderland and we know he likes a last minute goal
  • Bloody hell Sunderland getting very kicky and pushy...
  • One minute
  • I'm surprised how poor the Sunderland fans have been

Next season just got even tougher. Their young billionaire is going to throw A LOT of money around this summer.
  • Thats it.  Get in Lincoln.
  • So it's Charlton v Sunderland again next season. Well done to Lincoln, but I would fancy Blackpool to beat them at Wembley.

We'll just have to be better.
  • well done Lincoln .. terrific work rate .. but Sunderland had soooo many chances
We now have two red n white stripey sides at Wembley .. surely the hoodooo will be broken ?

  • Blackpool favourites, but Lincoln are not to be underestimated
  • Edun Tayo...yes please
  • Quality result for Lincoln. Not worried about Sunderland not going up. We can only focus on ourselves.
besides that, I enjoy a couple of days in the N E (of England) .. let's hope it's in springtime though

  • I do think the weight of expectation from a fan base the size of Sunderland is too much for the average mediocre league one player to handle.

Hope it doesn't happen to us year after year.

Here's hoping he just gives all his mates contracts and sticks himself up front

In terms of "big" clubs it's surely gotta be the strongest League 1 for a long long time? Can't wait
  • overall Lincoln is a very young team, but with a lot of loans

Yes, they've had so many disappointments over the years, they often go very quiet, when it's going against them.

Not worried at all about Sunderland whilst Lee Johnson is at the helm

It's ok for you, it's almost a local derby 😄. For us Southerners it's a fair old trek up to the NE.

same as me going to Cardiff or Plymouth, Portsmouth etc etc ((:>) .. easy train ride to Sunderland from London
  • Will be tougher for us with Sunderland in league next season, but I really can’t stand Lee Johnson so pleased they lost
