Ran out of my usual tipples, lager or wine.
And discovered the wonderfulness of gin and apple juice.
Go on give it a go.
Go on give it a go.

Hopefully the fact we're just 18-months from the World Cup (rather than 24 lol!) means we have a quicker chance to bounce back from tonight4

We took the best team of the tournament and a footballing giant in Italy to the last kick of the tournament.
After years of shite with brexit and covid the unified joy in this country past 2 weeks has been immense.
Today has been a brilliant day and I haven't celebrated a goal like that since Wembley v Sunderland.
Great manager who has outfoxed some decent sides and a great bunch of players who are relatable and know what it means to us fans.
Can't wait for the world cup with this lot.

We can go back to raising a disapproving eyebrow of houses with St George's crosses on them from 10am this morning.12

The missus won £200 betting on a 1-1 draw with Italy winning on penalties.8

Not a positive from last night, but as a whole - really got my eldest daughter into football in a big way, I'd taken her to a couple of Charlton Women's games before and she was mildly interested (but probably still a little bit young) but now she can't wait to go back.
Will probably try to get tickets to the Women's Euros next year and take her, too.
Also, overall - was a brilliant tournament, wasn't it? It's gutting to miss out but the run we had was class.8 -

in the spirit of Jose Mourinho, England didn't lose a single game in the whole tournament!6
