Why won’t / can’t the club come out and say Ronnie had Covid? He is getting slated for not being fit and joining training late. Covid is a legitimate reason for this, I just don’t understand why the club won’t come out and say it
Would you like your employer to announce things about your health and wellbeing?
The condition of footballers, and why they aren't in the side isn't kept secret though
"Albie has a hamstring strain, Conor has the flu, Jason woke up with back spasms, Craig is missing due to a family bereavement etc"
I wish I knew the definitive rule as to how many overage players can take part in U23 games. As far as I can tell, due to the link Clive kindly sought out and posted, the first U23 game is on August 31st. I would hope to see Schwartz, Gilbey, Pearce and Watson in that game in order to try to sort out what’s what. Additionally it would be nice to see a comprehensive U23 fixture list on the official site with dates, venues and kick off times.
I feel like we might be without Gilbey for quite a while. Last season he really struggled to come back from his injury and it wasn't until the end of the season that he started playing like himself again. Long Covid can really do a number on people so I think we might need to plan for not really having him at the level we'd expect
If he can play for the U23's he can play for the first team.
Wtf is going on. Makes no sense. Sounds to me like he's been ostracised.
Do you even believe some of the stuff you say sometimes?
Yes I do. I assume that the other 2 posters who seem to think I'm mad must be happy that whilst the first team have a powder puff attack one of the strikers that could have been on the bench tonight up at MK is playing for the U23's.

Worlds gone mad.
Golfie: Our players are too injury prone. It must be something to do with our medical team, or training regime.
Also Golfie: Why are we not throwing someone who barely had a pre-season, and played a competitive game in months straight into a first team game.

Really. I have to say.Ged Roddy is really stamping his authority on this club football wise from top to bottom.
Worlds gone mad.
